Rev. Dr. Shelia Yvette Smalley is the Assistant Pastor of Macedonia CLG.  Her mother, Presiding Elder Emeritus Juanita M. Smalley, is the pastor.  She accepted her call to the ministry in July 1978 and was ordained in the CLG Florida State Assembly, April 1982.  A significant note of interest is that she is a fourth generation female minister in her family and Church.

Sharing her various talents and skills, Rev. Dr. Smalley has served her local, state, and national churches in various capacities.  From 1996-2008, she served as the Church of the Living God National Director of Christian Education.  At Macedonia, Dr. Smalley directs all Christian Education auxiliaries, the On-line Ministry, and the Singles' Ministry.

The educational background of Rev. Dr. Smalley includes: a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Bethune-Cookman University, Daytona Beach, FL, a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Special Education (emphasis in Learning Disabilities; minor in Educational Leadership) from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL.  Rev. Dr. Smalley served in various educational positions for 30 years.  In August 2002, she retired as an Associate Professor of Exceptional Education at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL. 

Presently, Rev. Dr. Smalley serves as the President/CEO of the L. P. Richardson Family Literacy Center, Inc., Leesburg, FL.  She serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and Committee on Governance at the American Bible Society in New York, NY.  From April 2006 to April 2008, she served as the first female chairperson of the Associate Trustee Board at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL.
